Autism Education Assistant

We are looking for a highly motivated Graduate LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to join our team at a specialist provision in Barnet.
About the Provision:
- The Special Resource Provision is an addition to the mainstream school, providing up to 49 places for pupils with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC).
- The provision is designed to offer a tailored education and care program to students with ASC, enabling them to thrive and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Support:- Develop strong relationships with students, understanding their needs and preferences
- Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent communication and support
- Effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and collaboration
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
- Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and well-being
Working Hours and Salary:
Monday to Thursday: 8:15am - 3:30pm, Friday: 8:15am - 2:15pm. Salary: £85 per day (up to £100 per day). Located near High Barnet Underground Station and Cockfosters Underground Station. Parking available at school site.
