Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Specialist Physician to join our team at Spencer Clarke Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Oversee the management of patient admissions and discharges, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Clinical Expertise: Provide day-to-day management of patients on the ward, including conducting risk assessments, coordinating with the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), performing outcome measurements, and reviewing physical health.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Conduct prompt mental health assessments, generate detailed reports and clinical summaries, and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Professional Development: Participate actively in audits, research initiatives, quality and performance management, and other relevant clinical and professional activities.

Requirements:

  • A medical degree (MB ChB or equivalent) and full GMC registration with a license to practice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage a busy workload.
  • A genuine commitment to patient care and an interest in contributing to the development of mental health services.
