**Job Summary**

Marshall is seeking a highly skilled Tail Lift Engineer to join our team as a Maintenance and Repair Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of tail lift equipment used on large distribution vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Installation, servicing, and repair of tail lift, double deck, VBG, and shutter door equipment to minimize costs and maximize revenue generation.
  • Liaise with central control and/or the service centre to coordinate job start and completion times, downtime, and overtime authorizations.
  • Participate in company training and self-development through attendance on manufacturers' courses and online certification processes.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience as a Tail Lift/Commercial Engineer with a strong background in electro-mechanical systems, including engines, compressors, and hydraulics.
  • Understanding and experience in repairing and diagnosing hydraulics, with welding certification.
  • NVQ Level hydraulics/electrics or equivalent experience working to manufacturers' standards.

**Additional Information:**

  • UK driving license required for travel and overnight stays.
  • Physically fit to perform required tasks, with participation in an on-call roster, including overtime and premium times paid.
