Tail Lift Engineer

Job Summary:
Marshall is seeking a highly skilled Tail Lift Engineer to join our team. As a Tail Lift Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of tail lift, double deck, VBG, and shutter door equipment for our customers in the Essex and Suffolk/Norfolk areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation, Servicing, and Repair:
* Install, service, and repair tail lift, double deck, VBG, and shutter door equipment to meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
* Ensure that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner, with minimal disruption to our customers' operations.
Engineer Van Stock Management:
* Maintain and optimize engineer van stock to ensure that all necessary equipment and tools are available to complete tasks efficiently.
Customer Service:
* Provide exceptional customer service, including communicating with customers to schedule appointments, providing updates on work progress, and ensuring that all customers are satisfied with the service received.
Reporting and Administration:
* Maintain accurate records of all work completed, including hours worked, materials used, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
Experience:
* At least 2 years of experience as a Tail Lift Engineer or in a similar role.
* Proven track record of providing high-quality service and exceeding customer expectations.
Education and Certifications:
* GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English Language.
* Welding certification.
* STE/Weight Test Certification.
* NVQ Level in hydraulics/electrics or equivalent experience working to manufacturers' standards.
Skills and Aptitudes:
* Clean driving license.
* IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office and palmtop computers.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
* Methodical and systematic approach to work.
* Attention to detail.
* Punctuality, efficiency, and target-driven.
