Are you a driven sales professional seeking a challenging role in a thriving business? CV-Library is currently looking for a highly motivated Head of Sales to lead our sales team and drive growth. As a key member of our dynamic management team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive training to new starters, engaging with your team, collaborating with the marketing team, sharpening objection-handling skills, refining opening questions, and equipping the team with knowledge of our success stories.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of high performance and results as a team leader or manager, with the ability to motivate and inspire their team. This is a virtual role, with the expectation of 1-2 days per month in our Scarborough office. You will enjoy working closely with your team, not just managing from afar, but engaging alongside them to hit KPIs and meet ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver comprehensive training for new starters on how to sell themselves, the business, and our products effectively.
  2. Engage with your team by listening to calls, providing motivation, fine-tuning their performance, and offering support where needed.
  3. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure a steady and appropriate flow of high-quality leads, then guide your team in maximising these opportunities.
  4. Sharpen your team's objection-handling skills to create a resilient sales force capable of turning challenges into opportunities.
  5. Refine opening questions, helping your team excel in uncovering client needs and conducting effective fact-finding.
  6. Train diverse closing techniques, ensuring your team can close deals with different clients in various scenarios.
  7. Equip the team with knowledge of our success stories so they can confidently share case studies with clients, building trust and connections quickly.
  8. Lead by example, stepping in when necessary to demonstrate best practices—whether it's how to open, handle objections, or close a deal, especially for new starters or those in training.

We offer a competitive salary of £72,000 per annum, plus a generous commission structure based on your team's sales, offering a realistic OTE of £90,000—with no cap on earnings. You'll also receive comprehensive health cover, gym membership, sports and social events, 0% loans, and a small pension.
