About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Children's Home Manager to join our client's team at Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a children's home in line with the organisation's ethos, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of care professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers, therapists, and education providers, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, making recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Standards Act 2000.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a senior management role within a children's home or care setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and professionals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including the Children Act 1989 and the Care Standards Act 2000.
