Job Title: Responsible Care Professional
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Responsible Care Professional to join our team in Maidstone, Kent. As a key member of our Senior Management team, you will play a crucial role in the development and management of our children's home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and motivate the management of the children's home, ensuring consistency with our approach and ethos.
- Represent the home at a strategic level, maintaining communication with Ofsted and ensuring compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Implement equality and diversity measures in the local commissioning and delivery of services.
- Ensure the effective implementation of statutory and home policies, providing feedback to senior leaders.
- Resolve complex operational and service-based problems, ensuring the well-being of our children and young people.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level, with a qualification in team management, professional supervision, or quality management.
- Evidence of work-related continuous management development and strategic management responsibility.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Registered Manager in a home rated as 'Good' or 'Outstanding', with a successful background as a Responsible Individual.
- The level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare is highly desirable.
- Experience in budget and resource management, quality development, and improvement within a Residential Childcare environment.
- Experience of working with children, young people, and their families.
