Adult Learning Disability Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Adult Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care and support to adults with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized support to adults with learning disabilities, promoting independence and empowering them to make informed decisions.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team, sharing knowledge and expertise to ensure high-quality care.
- Monitor and record service user progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- At least 6 months of experience working in a social care setting.
- Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
- The right to work in the UK.
- A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities.
