Job Title: Adult Learning Disability Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Adult Learning Disability Support Worker to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic care and support to adults with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for assisting residents through a care pathway to help them live as independently as possible. This will involve observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of patient conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing therapeutic care and support to adults with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs

Requirements:
  • At least 6 months experience of working within a social care setting
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities
  • Empathetic, caring, and resilient nature
