Job Title: Chemical Safety Manager H/F

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Safety Manager to join our team at CV Technical. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our health and safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evolving our existing Safety management system to meet the needs of our site.
  • Providing specialist knowledge and support in Health & Safety to our site personnel.
  • Developing and coordinating the delivery of our Safety training program.
  • Collaborating with other West Fraser Europe sites to share best practice and implement our safety vision.
  • Assisting in developing systems that promote personal ownership of Safety.
  • Developing a Process Safety Management System and promoting a perfect Process Safety Performance culture on site.
  • Leading High-Risk Employee Management and High-Risk Scenario training.
  • Completing Hazard and Operability Studies on critical processes and new investments.
  • Managing the Safety Steering Committee and Change Management processes.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualification (desirable).
  • Qualifications in Health and Safety (NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a Health & Safety Management role essential.
