Aerospace Safety Manager

Global Highland is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join their well-established EHS team. This role is focused on ensuring the plant operates at the highest standards of Health and Safety, in compliance with H&S and Environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Enhance the Safety Management System: Develop and implement a comprehensive Safety Management System that meets site requirements and complies with relevant legislation.
- Provide Expert Guidance: Offer expert guidance and support in Health and Safety to site personnel, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely.
- Develop Safety Training Programs: Design and deliver Safety training programs that meet the needs of site personnel, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with Sites: Work with other sites to share best practices and implement the company's safety vision and Health and Safety policies.
- Develop Personal Responsibility Systems: Create systems that promote personal responsibility for safety, encouraging site personnel to take ownership of their safety and well-being.
- Develop Process Safety Management Systems: Develop and implement Process Safety Management Systems that foster a strong Process Safety culture on-site.
- Lead High-Risk Employee Management: Lead High-Risk Employee Management and High-Risk Scenario training, ensuring site personnel have the necessary skills and knowledge to manage high-risk situations.
- Chair the Safety Steering Committee: Chair the Safety Steering Committee and direct sub-committees, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the organization.
- Manage Personal and Process Safety Changes: Manage changes related to Personal and Process Safety, ensuring they are implemented in a safe and controlled manner.
- Degree qualification (preferred)
- Health & Safety qualifications (NEBOSH or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety Management role is essential.
