Chemical Safety Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at CV Technical. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our health and safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evolving our existing safety management system to meet the needs of our site and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Providing specialist knowledge and support in health and safety to our site personnel.
- Developing and coordinating the delivery of our safety training program.
- Working with our other European sites to share best practices, implement our safety vision, and achieve the aims and objectives of our health and safety policies.
- Assisting in developing systems that promote personal ownership of safety.
- Developing a process safety management system and promoting a perfect process safety performance culture on site.
- High-risk employee management leader.
- High-risk scenario training leader.
- Completion of hazard and operability studies on critical processes and all new investments/significant changes.
- Safety steering committee owner - providing clear direction for leaders and all safety sub-committees.
- Management of change owner for personal and process safety.
Requirements:
- Degree qualification (desirable)
- Qualifications in health and safety (NEBOSH or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a health and safety management role essential.
