About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Infection Prevention and Control Auditor to join our team at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a clinical environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care and ensuring compliance with infection prevention and control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and analyse data from various sources to monitor and improve infection prevention and control practices.
  • Conduct clinical and ward-based audits to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change.
  • Work collaboratively with the Infection Prevention and Control Team to develop and implement strategies to prevent and control infections.
  • Provide training and support to staff on infection prevention and control practices and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to infection prevention and control.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in infection prevention and control, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines related to infection prevention and control.
