About the Role

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our Infection Prevention and Control Team as an Infection Prevention and Control Auditor. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a centre of excellence and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide planned and unplanned support to the Infection Prevention and Control Team in relation to clinical audit.
  • Collect and input specific data from various sources, including case notes, computer systems, and direct patient contact.
  • Work autonomously and alongside the IPCT to undertake clinical and ward-based audit in line with audit schedules.
  • Collect and review audit data using local and national tools.
  • Manage IPC database/information systems relating to clinical audit.
  • Support the wider delivery of the IPC operational plan and annual programme of work.

Requirements

  • GSCE Maths and English Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent qualifications.
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a Health Subject.
  • Experience in working with a range of different professions at all levels of management within organisations.
  • Auditing and monitoring experience.
