About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Infection Prevention and Control Auditor to join our team at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Infection Prevention and Control Team, you will play a vital role in promoting safe and effective care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and input data from various sources, including case notes, computer systems, and direct patient contact, to promote safe and cost-effective care.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with the Infection Prevention and Control Team to undertake clinical and ward-based audits, in line with the IPC audit programme.
  • Collect and review audit data using local and national tools, and manage IPC database/information systems relating to clinical audit.
  • Support the delivery of the IPC operational plan and annual programme of work, and contribute to the development and delivery of training as part of the IPC team's training programme.
Requirements
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent qualifications.
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a Health Subject.
  • Experience in working with a range of different professions at all levels of management within organisations.
  • Auditing and monitoring experience.
