About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registration and Ceremonies Officer to join our team at Shared Services Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that all legal and statutory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the council during events of significant personal importance to participants.
  • Register births, deaths, still-births, marriages, civil partnerships, and the naturalization of British citizens.
  • Officiate at public events such as weddings and citizenship ceremonies.
  • Perform a range of administrative duties related to registration and ceremonies.

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a pressurized and highly charged environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to understand complex information.
  • Previous experience working with a registration service is highly welcomed but not essential.
