About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registration and Ceremonies Officer to join our team at Shared Services Partnership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality registration and ceremonies services to our customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Registration of births, deaths, still-births, marriages, civil partnerships, and naturalization of British citizens
  • Officiating at public events such as weddings and citizenship ceremonies
  • Providing efficient and caring customer service
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and public-speaking skills, as well as the ability to work in a pressurized and highly charged environment. Previous experience of working with a registration service is highly welcomed but not essential.
