We are seeking an experienced Logistics Expert to join our team at GE Aviation. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of equipment and services to meet project requirements.
About the Role- You will be responsible for expediting suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries, coordinating with internal disciplines, and providing feedback to the project team.
- You will work closely with the Engineering & Quality discipline to expedite critical documentation and plan vs. actual comparative analysis of manufacturing planning.
- You will provide user guidance on Material Tracking Application to suppliers and ensure equipment is delivered safely, on time, and to the correct location.
- A competitive salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
- A dynamic, international working environment with flexibility of work agreements.
- Great development opportunities, including private health insurance.
- Demonstrated years of relevant experience in logistics or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering beneficial, but not essential.
- Proven knowledge of products being procured and basic knowledge of quality.
- Languages: fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of local language considered an advantage.
- Pro-active and problem-solving attitude, with strong networking and communication skills.
