Job Description

  • Prepare and issue accurate service charge budgets, ensuring transparency and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage the year-end service charge reconciliation process, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Interpret lease agreements to ensure correct service charge application, providing expert advice to residents and stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns from residents regarding service charges.
  • Support the wider Accounting & Finance team as needed, contributing to the success of the organization.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Service Charge Officer should possess:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with finance systems.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents and stakeholders.
  • An understanding of service charge legislation and leasehold management, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry developments.
