Senior Lawyer in Private Law

Are you an experienced Private Client Solicitor looking for a new challenge?
Location: East Anglia, with offices across the region.
Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday.
We are seeking a qualified solicitor with significant experience in private client law to join our private law team as Head of Private Clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of wills, probate, trusts, and estates, as well as providing advice on trust creation, administration, and tax planning.
About the Role:
- Estate Planning & Probate: Manage a caseload of wills, probate, trusts, and estates.
- Trusts, Deeds, and Funds: Advise on trust creation, administration, and tax planning.
- Inheritance Tax Issues: Assist clients with inheritance tax mitigation strategies.
- Wills: Draft and advise on wills, including complex estate planning.
- Powers of Attorney: Prepare and register powers of attorney.
- Investment & Taxation: Provide advice on investment and taxation matters.
- Property & Assets: Manage property and asset-related matters, including conveyancing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and manage a team of solicitors and support staff.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure best practices.
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through excellent communication and service delivery.
- Continuously improve knowledge and skills through training and professional development.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor with significant experience in private client law.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work hybrid and travel to local offices when needed.
- Respected by peers and known for expertise in private client law.
