Role Overview

In this dynamic role, you will be working within Mercer's rapidly-growing global Investment Solutions business, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and driving growth. Located in London, this position offers an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing team and contribute to the success of our business.


About the Role

This mid-level position is ideal for a candidate with strong investment knowledge and experience, as well as a passion for excellence and teamwork. You will be responsible for supporting our sales leaders with large new-business opportunities across various client types, including pension, not-for-profit, insurance, and wealth-management clients.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop in-depth knowledge of Mercer's investment research and client solutions, enabling you to effectively communicate with colleagues and prospective clients.
  2. Collaborate closely with sales and commercial leadership on all aspects of sales and business development activities, demonstrating ownership of key sales deliverables, including new business proposals, pitch material, and specialist expertise assignments.
  3. Support and influence other business development initiatives, such as product launches, marketing campaigns, and go-to-market strategies, by collaborating with worldwide Mercer colleagues from various teams.
  4. Contribute to the continuous development of junior colleagues, guiding them through their professional journeys.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A third-level qualification with a strong academic track record and interest in capital markets and the investment industry (CFA and actuarial candidates are welcome)
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deliverables simultaneously
  • Strong IT skills, particularly in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with a willingness to learn other tools

Salary

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £75,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
