Job Title: Power Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Power Engineering Manager to lead our Electrical Power Systems team in defining the system elements required to feed into the submarine design and build process.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering, Chartership or equivalent experience, and significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems. They will be responsible for managing technical documentation, associated technical risks, assumptions and dependencies, and providing advice on electrical power technical aspects across a broad range of engineering disciplines.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience

Location: Various locations throughout the UK

About the role:

  1. Leading a team of engineers in defining the system elements required to feed into the submarine design and build process
  2. Managing technical documentation, associated technical risks, assumptions and dependencies
  3. Providing advice on electrical power technical aspects across a broad range of engineering disciplines
  4. Engaging with customers and suppliers to provide solutions to complex problems
