Community Liaison Assistant

Salary: £17,500 - £19,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

We are seeking a Community Liaison Assistant to join our team at Homes for Students. In this role, you will play a key role in building and maintaining positive relationships with students, local communities, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage with students and promote a sense of community
  • Collaborate with local organisations and stakeholders to identify opportunities for partnership and collaboration
  • Provide support and guidance to students on matters related to community engagement and outreach
  • Contribute to the development of new initiatives and projects to enhance community relations

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with students, colleagues, and external partners
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a higher education or student accommodation setting
  • Knowledge of community development principles and practices, with the ability to apply them in a student-focused context
