As one of the leading suppliers of sliced, grated, block, and continental cheese to wholesalers, retailers, and sandwich manufacturers, we are now looking for an experienced engineer to join our team.

Job Details

We offer a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits.

This position is based on a permanent night shift pattern, Monday to Friday, 10pm - 6am (40 hours per week), with free parking available and convenient access to major travel networks. Our employees enjoy excellent work-life balance, including:

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Conduct personal projects to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
  • Maintain all standards of housekeeping in line with our engineering procedures, Quality System, and Health & Safety protocols.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of written and online documentation according to company policies.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in engineering within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
  • HNC or relevant engineering qualifications as a minimum.
  • NVQ Level 3 in engineering/equivalent, preferably in electrical maintenance.
  • Electrical or multiskilled background with a strong electrical bias.
