Facilities Management Assistant

About the Role
The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council are seeking a skilled Mobile Cleaning Operative to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for carrying out cleaning and laundry duties at various Care Homes and Day Centres in the Chorley area.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties, including damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming, toilet cleaning, and washroom cleaning.
- Load and empty washing and drying machines, roll, and press laundry items, and store laundry items.
- Provide support to meet additional service demands, including covering sickness and holidays.
Requirements
- High standards of cleanliness are expected, and prior experience is desirable.
- Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
- You must have means of transport to access several buildings in a catchment area.
- You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use.
