Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking an ambitious and curious Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join VWA, a boutique recruitment consultancy with a 35-year history.

About the Role:
  • The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will provide research services to the wider business, supporting administration, marketing activities, and other projects as needed.
  • Conduct end-to-end candidate search and selection campaigns using various platforms and directly contact candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Resourcing and headhunting candidates for various roles and establishing a growing candidate pipeline.
  • Interviewing, analyzing, and documenting active and passive candidates.
  • Creating job adverts using multiple platforms.
  • Market research into sectors and roles.
  • Compiling candidate shortlists with tight deadlines.
  • Sending reference requests and formatting CVs to house standard.
  • Supporting the Marketing Manager with social media management and blogs.
  • Representing VWA at networking and other events, which may fall outside of office hours.
About You:
  • Prior experience in a research role, ideally from an executive search or recruitment environment.
  • Degree education (or equivalent).
  • Experience in professional networking and relationship management.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using other IT programs or databases.
  • Strong attention to detail, efficient work approach, and warm, approachable manner.
  • Natural rapport-builder with a team-working and commercial mindset.
Additional Details:
  • Core hours: 9am - 5pm, with flexibility to work beyond these hours if required.
  • The company operates a hybrid working structure (3 days office-based), but the successful candidate will be fully office-based during onboarding.
  • The estimated salary for this position is up to £45K per annum, depending on relevant experience, plus potential commission scheme and discretionary bonus participation.
  • Benefits include private medical insurance, pension, and 25 days' holiday increasing by 1 day with each additional year worked up to a maximum of 28 days.
