Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire and Security Systems Engineer to join our team at Protex Fire & Security Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire and security systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and maintain fire and security systems to the highest standards
  • Conduct thorough site surveys to identify system requirements and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on fire and security systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant experience in fire and security systems installation, maintenance, and repair
  • In-depth knowledge of security and/or fire systems, including commissioning and client handover
  • Working knowledge of British and European Standards (PD6662:2017, BS8243, BS5839, etc.)
  • Ability to apply fault-finding and other skills to a broad range of products
  • IPAF certification (training will be provided if required)
  • ECS card (training will be provided if required)
  • Full UK driver's license
  • BS7858 employee screening
