About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse or Midwife to join our Health Visiting Service as a Healthy Child Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative team, delivering high-quality care to children, young people, and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and deliver the Universal Children's services in line with the HCP 0-5 years.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with other members of the Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust, including Health Visitors, Community Nursery Nurses, and Administration Officers.
  • Provide health promotion and public health advice to patients, carers, and multi-agency professionals.
  • Support babies/children and their families with concerns or medical conditions, and provide maternal mental health support.
  • Participate in multi-agency working and safeguarding initiatives.
Requirements
  • Active registration as a nurse or midwife on the NMC register.
  • GCSE grade C/4 in Maths and English.
  • Relevant Nursing/Midwifery Degree.
  • Evidence of recent Continuing Professional Development.
