CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and reliable Handyperson to join our client's on-site maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning and appearance of our client's facilities. This role requires a proactive individual with a wide range of skills in repair, maintenance, and general building upkeep.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and HVAC systems
* Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify and address any issues
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls
* Paint, patch, and repair walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed
* Assemble and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and tools
* Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as necessary
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

**Requirements:**

* Proven experience as a Handyperson or in a similar maintenance role
* Willing to undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service check
* Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are a plus
* Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC repairs
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent time management and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects

**What We Offer:**

* Competitive salary up to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
* Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)
* Participation in an 'out of hours' on-call rota (to be confirmed)
