We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable individual to join our team as an Academy Kitchen Manager. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a supportive, friendly environment and contribute to the well-being and success of our students.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of skill and knowledge in food preparation, hygiene, and safety. You will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, including planning, ordering, and controlling the production and service of food.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Managing the kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of food services
  • Preparation and replenishment of food and beverage service display areas
  • Serving pupils and teachers fresh, healthy, nutritious food
  • Maintaining high standards of kitchen, allergen and personal hygiene, and Health and Safety

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Level 2 or 3 certificate in food hygiene and NVQ or equivalent qualification in food preparation
  • Ability to work on own initiative and lead a team
  • Friendly, polite, and positive attitude
  • Knowledge of kitchen health and safety
  • Physical stamina to meet demands of the role
