Job Title: Test Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineering Manager to lead our test department and ensure the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance in our ID card printers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and mentor a team of test engineers and technicians to ensure rigorous verification and validation testing of new ID card printer designs, design changes, and accessories.
  • Develop and implement best practices, processes, and methodologies for testing ID card printers and associated products.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and business objectives.
  • Oversee the design, development, and execution of comprehensive V&V test plans for new ID card printer designs.
  • Ensure thorough testing of both hardware and software components, including functionality, durability, and reliability tests.
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to identify potential design issues and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Ensure all test documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead root cause analysis for any issues discovered during testing and work with the design team to implement corrective actions.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the testing process to enhance product quality and reduce time to market.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in test engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience in verification and validation testing of hardware products, preferably in the printing or electronics industry.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic products is a plus.
