Job Description

Ultra Electronics CEMS Ltd is seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of electronic assemblies to ensure they meet customer requirements and company standards.
  • Fault Finding and Repair: Identify and repair faults in electronic assemblies using a range of test equipment and techniques.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of testing and validation activities, and prepare reports on findings and testing data.
  • Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and Vibration Testing: Conduct ESS and vibration testing on electronic assemblies to ensure they can withstand various environmental conditions.
  • Programming and Loading: Program and load electronic assemblies using programming loading documents.
  • Investigation and Reporting: Conduct investigations and prepare reports on issues related to electronic assemblies.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Previous experience in an electronic manufacturing environment, preferably in a quality assurance or testing role.
  • Education: Further education in Electrical or Electronic engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and circuit diagrams. Proficiency in using test equipment and software.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to achieve BPSS security clearance.
