Complex Injury Claims Team Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Specialist Complex Injury Claims Advisor to join our growing team in Liverpool. As a key member of our Complex Injury Claims Team, you will support our Partner, Victoria Coleman, in handling large loss and complex injury EL/PL/RTA work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage court documents, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Liaise with experts, counsel, insureds, witnesses, and courts to progress claims efficiently.
  • Register and update claims with the Claims Research Unit (CRU) and notify of settlements.
  • Maintain expert summaries, interim payment records, and offer histories.
  • Arrange medical expert appointments, chase reports, and draft medical records mandates.
  • Review medical records, draft summaries, and precis evidence.
  • Redact documents, field phone calls, and handle general queries.
  • Arrange payments and conduct legal research to support claim resolutions.
Requirements
  • Minimum education standard of 5 GCSEs grades 5 or above or A-C with an interest in law.
  • Experience in litigation process, personal injury file handling, or assistant roles.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and maintain a calm demeanor.
  • Self-confidence, good literacy, and IT skills, with a strong team working ethos.
