Human Factors Specialist (Mid-Senior Level)

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking an experienced Human Factors Specialist to join our team.

This role can be based from any of our UK offices, with a preference for Manchester, London, Bristol, or Cardiff.

As a Human Factors Specialist, you will support the successful delivery of ERM proposals and projects, working with clients in high-hazard industries. You will design and deliver human factors and safety service lines, including desk-based work and engagement programs onsite with all levels of the client's organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design and deliver human factors and safety service lines, including human error/reliability, safety culture, and human factors in design.
  2. Provide technical/subject matter leadership and review to ensure the quality of project deliverables represents ERM standards and meets client needs.
  3. Be heavily involved in business development, fostering relationships with existing and new clients and building on our existing services lines.
  4. Be involved in the day-to-day management of projects and mentoring of junior team members.
  5. Have experience in projects using analytics tools and an understanding of experimental design principles and statistics would be highly desirable.
