National Locums are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Ophthalmology to provide specialist care in Medical Retina and Cataract services.

Job Summary:

We require a Consultant with expertise in Medical Retina and Cataract to join our team at a hospital in London. The ideal candidate will have experience in running clinics, performing eye surgery, and managing eye conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To deliver high-quality patient care in Medical Retina and Cataract clinics
  • To perform cataract operations and other related surgical procedures
  • To manage and treat various eye conditions, including diabetic retinopathy and age-related macular degeneration
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must hold a full GMC licence to practice and have previous experience as a Consultant in Ophthalmology with NHS.

Working Hours:

The core working hours will be Monday - Friday, 08:30-17:30. The job plan includes medical retina clinics, diabetic clinics, cataract clinics, eye casualty, and cataract operating.

Estimated Salary:

Based on national averages and industry standards, the estimated salary for this role is around £100,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
