Glaucoma Clinician and Researcher

Job Description
The Clinical Education Fellow in Ophthalmology will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the ophthalmology department. This includes managing general, vitreo-retinal, and emergency ophthalmic patients, as well as performing cataract surgery.
The post holder will also participate in research and teaching activities, including providing high-quality teaching to medical undergraduates and members of other healthcare professions. They will work closely with the Clinical Director to ensure high performance and participate in auditing clinical services.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent)
- Experience in emergency ophthalmology and general ophthalmology
- Achieved Royal College of Ophthalmologist ST5 to ST7 competencies or equivalent
- Ability to manage general, vitreo-retinal, and emergency ophthalmic patients
- Experience in cataract surgery
