National Locums is seeking a highly skilled locum Consultant in Ophthalmology to join their team in London.

Job Summary:

The Ophthalmology department within a hospital based in London requires a Consultant in Ophthalmology specialising in Medical Retina and Cataract to start immediately for an initial period of 3 months. The ideal candidate will have experience working in NHS hospitals, with a strong background in Medical Retina and Cataract clinics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality medical care to patients attending the Medical Retina and Cataract clinics
  • To participate in Eye casualty and cataract operating
  • To maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of the department

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, candidates must hold a full GMC licence to practice and have previous experience as a Consultant in Ophthalmology. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:

Salary:
