Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to join our team at H9 Technical Recruitment Ltd. As a Project Manager - EC&I, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept to delivery, ensuring they meet the company's objectives and priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans, including optioneering, feasibility studies, design reviews, and commissioning
  • Review and resolve issues with existing site systems, including electrical distribution systems, lighting protection systems, and control system installations
  • Develop an awareness of the existing interconnected infrastructure, including boilers, cooling towers, hydraulics, air compressors, and vacuum pumps
  • Liaise with internal colleagues and external suppliers to ensure clear communication and project success
  • Ensure projects achieve their objectives while maintaining the company's priorities in relation to SHEQ
  • Work with the Manufacturing Team to deliver business improvement plans and develop strong professional networks with key stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Specialist core skills in Electrical, Control Systems, and Instrumentation
  • Proven project management experience in a Process/FMCG industry
  • Understanding of Hazardous Areas designation and application
  • Multi-discipline awareness, including Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Process, Maintenance, and Operations
  • Experience working with electrical distribution systems (6.6kV and below)

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience delivering a multi-million pound construction project
  • Formal project management qualification, such as Prince2, APM, or Six Sigma
  • Degree/HNC/HND or other accredited qualification
