Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Project Manager to join our team at H9 Technical as a Project Manager, focusing on Electrical, Control Systems, and Instrumentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, including optioneering, feasibility studies, design reviews, and commissioning.
  • Review and resolve issues with existing site systems, including electrical distribution systems, lighting protection systems, and control system installations.
  • Develop an awareness of the existing interconnected infrastructure, including boilers, cooling towers, hydraulics, air compressors, and vacuum pumps.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues and external suppliers to ensure clear communication and project success.
  • Ensure projects meet objectives while maintaining the company's priorities in relation to SHEQ.
  • Collaborate with the Manufacturing Team to deliver business improvement plans.
  • Develop strong professional networks with internal and external stakeholders to understand stakeholder requirements.

Requirements:

  • Specialist core skills in Electrical, Control Systems, and Instrumentation.
  • Proven project management experience in a Process/FMCG industry.
  • Understanding of Hazardous Areas designation and application.
  • Multi-discipline awareness, including Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Process, Maintenance, Operations, etc.
  • Experience working with electrical distribution systems (6.6kV and below).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Previous experience delivering a multi-million-pound construction project.
  • Formal project management qualification, such as Prince2, APM, or Six Sigma.
