Job Overview: Westgate Healthcare is seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Kingfisher Nursing Home. As a compassionate and skilled culinary professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality meals to our residents.

Estimated Salary Range: Up to £14.50 per hour (dependent on experience)

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the care team to plan seasonal menus that cater to the diverse needs of our residents
  • Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ensure a clean kitchen environment
  • Conduct regular checks to guarantee adherence to food safety standards


Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Cook in a similar setting and environment
  • Possession of a Certificate Level II in Food Safety and Hygiene
  • Familiarity with nutritional requirements for older adults
  • Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety regulations and policies

Working Conditions: 15 hours spread across two days, Saturday and Sunday, from 7:30am to 3:30pm.
