Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our dynamic team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality cardiac rehabilitation services to patients following myocardial infarction, cardiac surgery, coronary angioplasty, heart failure, and other cardiac conditions.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and supporting patients in need of cardiac rehabilitation
  • Delivering high-quality cardiac rehabilitation services in line with commissioning packs
  • Facilitating outpatient exercise and information programs at Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital, and community sites
  • Conducting clinical consultations and collecting data using the NACR database
  • Working collaboratively with the team and across acute and primary care to ensure seamless cardiac rehabilitation services

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Post-registration Cardiology qualification (desirable)
  • Current driving license and own transport (essential)
  • Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values
  • Cardiology experience (essential)
  • Working independently and as part of a team (desirable)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
