Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cardiac Rehabilitation CNS to join our dynamic team at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality cardiac rehabilitation services to patients following myocardial infarction, cardiac surgery, coronary angioplasty, heart failure, and other cardiac conditions.

Main Responsibilities

The Cardiac Rehabilitation CNS will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating outpatient exercise and information programs at Barnet Hospital, Chase Farm Hospital, and community sites
  • Conducting clinical consultations and data collection using the NACR database
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Developing and implementing cardiac rehabilitation programs to meet the needs of patients

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration as a Nurse with the NMC
  • Post-registration Cardiology qualification (desirable)
  • Current driving license and own transport (essential)
  • Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values
  • Cardiology experience (essential)
