Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Family Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Hudson Valley. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Team, you will provide high-quality psychiatric care to clients in a community mental health setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychiatric diagnostic services for clients, utilizing the contributions of mental health professionals.
- Develop and implement treatment plans to address clients' mental health needs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in in-service training and education to stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Act as a resource person for other staff in the areas of medicine, psychiatry, and neurology.
Requirements:
- Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by the New York State Education Department.
- Master's degree in nursing with psychiatric profession.
- Board certification from a recognized organization, such as ANCC or AACN.
