Job Title: Senior Process Safety Engineer

Job Description

As a Senior Process Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the Process Safety elements within budget and planning. This includes change control and consistency of the Process design with other disciplines.

  • Develop and implement Process Safety strategies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead a team of engineers and designers in Process design within multi-discipline engineering, EPCM, or EPC projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Process Safety is integrated into project planning and execution.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize Process Safety risks.
  • Develop and maintain Process Safety procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Participate in internal and external design reviews to ensure Process Safety is integrated into project design.
  • Make independent decisions on Process Safety issues, providing expert technical support within Process Engineering.
Your Profile

We are looking for a highly experienced Process Safety Engineer with a strong background in Process design and safety. If you have the following profile, we would like to meet you:

  • Experience in Process design and safety, including HAZID, HAZOP, CHAZOP, PHA, SIL, LOPA, DSEAR, and pressure relief.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations, including British and European Standards.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing projects, with a strong focus on Process Safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate Process Safety risks.
