Job Title: Senior Process Safety Engineer

Bilfinger UK is a leading engineering and maintenance provider, supporting customers across various industries. We are seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Process Safety Engineer to lead our process design team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in process safety, with experience in multi-discipline projects. They will be responsible for managing process safety elements within budget and planning, and will participate in internal and external design reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead process design within multi-discipline engineering projects
  • Manage process safety elements within budget and planning
  • Participate in internal and external design reviews
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Lead and motivate a team of engineers and designers
Requirements
  • More than 3 years of experience as a Lead/Senior Engineer Process in multi-discipline projects
  • Deep knowledge of process engineering and design, with a sound understanding of other disciplines
  • Experience of process safety, including HAZID, HAZOP, CHAZOP, PHA, SIL, LOPA, DSEAR, and pressure relief
  • Experience in a mainstream process industry, such as oil & gas, chemicals, or conventional energy
  • MEng/MSc/BSc/BEng in Process/Chemical Engineering
  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (Preferred)
