Job Title: Senior Process Safety Engineer

Bilfinger UK is seeking a highly skilled Senior Process Safety Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe design and operation of our clients' processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement process safety strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Lead process safety assessments, including HAZID, HAZOP, and PHA, to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process safety solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Develop and maintain process safety documentation, including safety procedures, training programs, and incident reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members on process safety matters.
Requirements:
  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (CEng or IEng) in a relevant discipline, such as Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
  • Proven experience in process safety, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
