We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team. As a key member of our nursery management team, you will play a vital role in providing inclusive play and learning opportunities for all children attending the nursery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in leading and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and other legal/statutory frameworks.
- Support the aims and objectives of the nursery, including maintaining a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment.
- Help manage the provision, including staffing levels, and ensure staff awareness of statutory requirements.
- Hold a recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification and have demonstrable post-qualification experience of working with children.
- Experience of implementing EYFS and knowledge of legislation relevant to Early Years, including EYFS, SEN, Safeguarding, and the Childcare Act 2006.
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to work as part of a team and lead effectively.
- Good understanding of Safeguarding and child protection, including the Prevent Agenda and British Values.
- Knowledge of child development and children's needs, as well as equality and inclusive practices.
