Psychological Therapist Specialist

Crooton Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Psychological Therapist Specialist to join their team in HMP Elmley Prison. This permanent position comes with a competitive salary range of £55,755-£62,504 per annum, including RRP.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Integrated Mental Health Teams, applying the NICE stepped care model and leading on consultation activity. They will also carry a case load of psychological assessments and therapies, working with prisoners with complex mental health needs.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have additional training beyond entry-level qualification in a specialised area of psychological practice and be registered with a professional body or regulatory body. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work with diverse populations, and experience of maintaining professionalism in high-pressure situations.
About the Role:
- Work within the Integrated Mental Health Teams to provide specialist psychological therapy assessments and interventions.
- Supervise qualified psychologists, trainees, and assistant psychologists.
- Lead on consultation activity with operational and clinical staff.
- Carry a case load of psychological assessments and therapies.
