The RSK Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Professional to join their team. As a Senior SHEQ Advisor, you will be responsible for providing SHEQ compliance, advice, and guidance to the team, as well as preparing and reviewing risk assessments and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the SHEQ team in providing SHEQ compliance, advice, and guidance with applicable legislation and industry best practice.
  • Prepare and review risk assessments and procedures.
  • Carry out inductions, training, and toolbox talks.
  • Monitor and deliver internal audits, on-site inspections, and report on SHEQ performance for business operations, office, and field-based.
  • Support the investigation of incidents, analyze data, and present findings to the management team.
  • Vendor review, audit, and inspections.
  • Prepare reports in relation to performance against objectives, targets, and SHEQ performance, as well as supporting associated communications.
  • Assist with the implementation of divisional and Group SHEQ initiatives.

Person Specification:

  • Proven previous experience in a health and safety position.
  • Civils or construction experience an advantage but not essential.
  • A NEBOSH General Certificate, ideally TechIOSH status, and experience with ISO standards.
  • Good technical knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • A confident and experienced trainer.
  • ISO internal auditor qualification an advantage but is not essential.
