About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SHEQ Advisor to join our team at RSK Group. As a key member of our SHEQ team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental (SHEQ) compliance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the SHEQ team in ensuring SHEQ compliance, providing expert advice and guidance on relevant legislation and industry best practices.
  • Develop and review risk assessments and procedures to ensure the highest level of safety and compliance.
  • Conduct orientations, training sessions, and toolbox talks to educate employees on SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • Oversee internal audits, on-site inspections, and report on SHEQ performance across business operations, both office and field-based.
  • Assist in incident investigations, data analysis, and present findings to management to drive improvement.
  • Conduct vendor assessments, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.
  • Prepare reports on performance against objectives, targets, and SHEQ standards, and support related communications.
  • Aid in the implementation of divisional and Group SHEQ initiatives to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in health and safety roles, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and industry best practices.
  • Previous experience in civils or construction is highly advantageous.
  • Hold a NEBOSH General Certificate, TechIOSH status, and have a solid understanding of ISO standards.
  • Skilled and confident in delivering training and presentations to employees.
  • Preferred ISO internal auditor qualification.
